Anne Strange

I qualified as a physiotherapist in 1986 from Coventry School of Physiotherapy. My main experience has been in musculoskeletal/orthopaedic work. Since 1994 I have specialised in paediatric orthopaedics, in a consultant team at UHCW.
I have taught Pilates since 2008, I trained with the APPI.
I personally have found Pilates very helpful to prepare for physical challenges such as skiing, a fabulous Himalayan trek, 10k and half marathon runs, and the London marathon in 2017.It's easy to be enthusiastic about something that you have personally benefitted from! Aside from strenuous pursuits, everything is easier if you have some strength, balance and flexibility...we can benefit from exercise such as Pilates at any age.
I have lived in Leamington  since the late 1980s. I have 2 daughters, who in various ways share my interest in health, one is a trainee clinical psychologist and the other is a trainee veterinary nurse. I also have a dog, and an allotment!
