I graduated from Manchester school of physiotherapy with a first class BSc Hons in physiotherapy in 2001
I have worked in Manchester and London, large teaching hospitals, where I gained a huge variety of experience, especially in rehabilitation. I also did voluntary work in an orphanage in Albania , treating children with Downs Syndrome and teaching them to walk, as well as how to have fun!!
I have always swum as a child and growing up ,to national level . At university I began playing water polo. I went on to work with British swimming as a physio accompanying them to both national and international events which was a wonderful experience.
I now specialise in musculoskeletal out patients and orthopaedics and work part time at the Nuffield in Leamington. My special interests are in exercise therapy, particularly Pilates and peri natal exercising and care.
Since 2009, I have been teaching a mixture of classes here at the Well Centre, but most recently have become the in house, ante and post natal teacher, since having my own children
Out of work I am a mummy and am involved in numerous, toddler activities. I play netball in a local league and swim whenever I get the opportunity. I am generally active, maybe hyper active, and am keen to get involved in anything new and exciting.
